Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WITPDF ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WITPDF provides browser-based PDF tools including: merge, split, convert to images, extract text, and more. Basic processing is local; future AI features may involve temporary server uploads as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Free Tier (No Login Required)

  • Free users: 1–3 tasks per day (as displayed on the website)
  • No watermark on output files
  • No advertisements
  • No login required

4. Paid Subscription (Login Required)

  • Unlimited access requires login (Google / email magic link)
  • Payments are processed via PayPal
  • Subscription plans and pricing are clearly listed on the Pricing page

5. Cookies and Consent

We use Google Fonts and Microsoft Clarity to enhance your experience. These services are only activated after you provide explicit consent via our cookie consent banner. You can accept or decline, and declining will not affect the core PDF tools functionality. Your consent preference is stored locally in your browser.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel auto-renewal anytime via PayPal or your account settings
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • Refunds may be considered only if:
    • The Service is completely unusable due to a sustained technical issue on our end, or
    • You request within 24 hours of purchase with minimal usage (e.g., less than 10 tasks)

7. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion by emailing support@witpdf.com from your registered email address. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass usage limits
  • Abuse the free tier (e.g., using automated scripts)

9. Service Changes & Future Features

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. Significant changes (e.g., server-based AI features) will be announced on the website before they are implemented.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be notified via a notice on our website.
